In my old newspaper I´m going to talk about the Carolingian Empire. By the VIII century, European political situation had established. In the East, the Byzantine Empire was strong again, thanks to a series of emperors. The Carolingian Empire arises from Charlemagne's predecessors since the early eighth century(Charles Martel and Pippin the Short). The power through much of Western Europe allowed Carlos aspiration to rebuild the extension of the old Western Roman Empire.
